Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes within our advanced production facility. This role is integral to driving continuous improvement, ensuring quality standards, and implementing innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering, with a strong background in CNC programming and lean manufacturing. Responsibilities 

  • Provide engineering and manufacturing mentorship, guidance and support for machinists in achieving production goals.
  • Support product deisng and process improvements to drive enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence on the shop floor.
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Take full ownership of manufacturing projects, from initial concept and design through development, implementation, and production.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently, meeting deadlines, quality standards, and time requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related issues, coordinating with all management and team members to ensure success.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead the development of work instructions, process documentation, and training materials. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and willingness to work directly on the shop floor.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
  • Knowledge of machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly processes in aerospace manufacturing.
