We're a high-growth vascular MedTech start up developing innovative therapies and enabling technologies to improve clinical outcomes and accelerate adoption through strong evidence and scalable commercialization.

The VP, Reimbursement & Market Access will lead US reimbursement and access strategy owning payer engagement, coding/coverage/payment pathways, HEOR positioning, and value messaging to secure appropriate reimbursement and remove barriers for providers and hospitals. You'll partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to drive coverage, adoption, and sustainable growth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own US reimbursement & market access strategy across coding, coverage, and payment for current products and pipeline; ensure 'reimbursement-by-design' input into product and clinical strategy.
  • Lead coding and payment pathway work including strategy, timelines, external advisors, and alignment with specialty societies and key stakeholders.
  • Drive payer engagement and coverage development with commercial payers Medicare/MACs, and other relevant bodies; support policy reviews and reduce adoption friction.
  • Shape evidence and value narrative in partnership with Clinical/Medical Affairs/Marketing, including payer dossiers, economic models, and value analysis materials.
  • Build field enablement and customer support tools (coding guides, claim support, prior-auth/appeals resources) and serve as escalation point for complex cases.
  • Manage vendors and external partners (reimbursement consultants, HEOR partners, policy advisors) and represent the company in relevant reimbursement/policy forums.
  • Build and lead the function (team, processes, budget, governance) and provide clear reporting to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications 

  • 12+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access/health policy/HEOR within MedTech (vascular, interventional, or procedural devices strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record leading US reimbursement strategy, including cross-functional leadership and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep knowledge of US reimbursement systems (Medicare, commercial payers), hospital economics, and site-of-care dynamics.
  • Experience developing payer evidence narratives and economic tools for hospital value analysis.
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment: hands-on, strategic, and able to build structure from ambiguity.
